Because she loves him and she’s his mate. But she stays with him also because she wants to help him get better and help get his life back on track. She hopes that her love and dedication is enough and he sees that. He’s not only her lover but also her best friend and, even if they weren’t mates, she’d still be devastated if she lost him.
